To assemble, the stand must first be built (note: for transportation reasons, the barbeque is packaged bolted to the stand top, and should be removed before attempting to assemble the stand). The barbeque is placed back inside the stand after it has been assembled and reattached (it can be removed to cook from a raised bench).
