OPERATION
Starting The Engine
1. Always launch the watercraft
in water at least 2 feet (60 cm)
(A) deep, which is free of
weeds and debris that could be
sucked into the impeller. Be
aware of swimmers, other
boats and obstacles in order to
avoid contact with them.
2. Push the rear of the watercraft
up and down several times to
flush out any sand that could
be trapped in the pump.
3. Turn the fuel valve to "on", if
applicable.
4. Carefully board the watercraft
and sit down.
5. Attach the lanyard (B) wrist
band to your left wrist or PFD.
6. Fasten the lanyard lock plate
to the engine stop switch on
the handlebars by pushing the
lock plate around the barrel of
the switch.
Be sure the lanyard is not tangled
around the handlebars or controls.
