Proceed with the following steps, 15-22, if the cab has a heater option.
15. Drain the engine antifreeze.
16. Locate the thermostat sensor on the left side of the thermostat housing. Remove it. Take
the provided street fitting adapter (use Teflon tape on the threads of the fittings to provide a
water sealed connection) and install in thermostat housing. Install sensor into inline portion of
adapter. Install the 3/8NPT x straight barb fitting into the sensor adapter. This is the PRESSURE
connection.
17. Locate the lower radiator hose. Cut it in the location shown below and install the 1 1/8"
hose splicer. Use the provided HS-20 hose clamps. This is the SUCTION connection.
18. Route the hoses from the cab into the hood cowling. They hoses must go at the front
corner of the hood as shown below.
