08 LANcare Basic / LANcare Advanced

Terms and conditions

The LANCOM device for which you want to use
LANcare Basic / LANcare Advanced must be in perfect working order
and still within the warranty period when registering. Furthermore,
LANcare Basic / LANcare Advanced is only valid for the initial purchaser of
the device.
Per device for which you want to use LANcare Basic / LANcare Advanced, a
separate option and registration is required. After successful registration the
used license number is no longer available for any additional device.

Registration

LANcare Basic / LANcare Advanced only apply if they were registered
within three months of the date on your proof of purchase. Information on
the procedure necessary for this is available in the chapter "Registering
LANcare Basic / LANcare Advanced" on page 09.
If you are unable to produce proof of purchase, then a fixed period of three
months after the date of manufacture is taken as the limiting time period,
within which you must register the LANcare service packs.

Misuse

LANCOM Systems reserves the right to charge for the device
sent as part of the advance replacement in the event of misuse of
LANcare Basic / LANcare Advanced. This may be the case if the defective
device is not a warranty case (e.g. lightning strike, vandalism) or if
LANcare Basic / LANcare Advanced is used outside its period of validity.
