CHARACTERISTICS

Electronic scales DELÍCIA are excellent for weighing food up to 3 kg, with the possibility of step-by-step weighing of several foods in a single vessel. They are accurate, with 1 g increments. The multi-purpose pan with scale, spout and cap is also suitable for keeping meals in the refrigerator. The scales will switch off automatically when not in use for over 3 minutes. Powered by a 9V battery (the battery is not included).

BEFORE FIRST USE

Remove the transport packaging before fi rst use, wash the pan, wipe the scales with a moistened cloth and dry them.

POWER

Insert a 9V battery into the battery pit on the bottom of the scales and close the pit. Use exclusively high-quality 9V alkaline batteries; replace batteries as needed.

Used batteries are not domestic waste; dispose of them at a designated refuse centre or recycling site.

WEIGHING FOOD

Place the scales on a fl at surface and switch them on by pushing the on / tare button. The display will read 0 g after several seconds. Put the pan onto the scales and tare the display by pushing the on / tare button again. Insert the food into the vessel; the display will show its accurate weight. The display will show the total weight of all the inserted foods after adding each subsequent food.

ADDING FEATURE

Push the on / tare button to tare the display again. Insert the next food into the vessel; the display will show only the weight of the most recently inserted food. You can weigh additional foods step by step up to the limit capacity of the scales.

WEIGHING COMPLETED

To switch off the scales when you have fi nished weighing, push the off button. The scales will switch off automatically when not in use for over 3 minutes.

MAINTENANCE

The vessel with cap is dishwasher safe; do not wash the scales in a dishwasher and do not immerse them in water. When needed, wipe the scales with a moistened cloth and dry; avoid aggressive chemicals, sand-based agents, etc. for cleaning.

Notice
Intended for domestic use. Do not put hot meals, chemicals, etc. into the pan or onto the scales. Foods of suitable sizes can be weighed also without using the pan, i.e. directly on the top surface of the scales. Do not expose the scales to steam, moisture and/or high temperatures.

Remove the 9V battery from the scales during periods of prolonged inactivity and store it separately. When a blinking battery symbol appears on the display, immediately replace the battery.

If the maximum capacity is exceeded, an err symbol appears on the display. In such a case, remove the vessel with foods from the scales and reduce the weight. The total weight of the weighed food including the vessel must not exceed 3 kg.

Make sure before each use that there are no sources of electromagnetic fi elds near the scales, such as a microwave oven, a mobile phone, etc. If the scales malfunction due to electromagnetic radiation, remove the source of interference and switch the scales off and then on again.
