ESCRIPTION
The most outstanding features of this Dimension QS40.241 DIN
rail power supply are the extremely high efficiency and the small
size, which are achieved by a synchronous rectification, a
bridgeless PFC circuit and additional unique design details.
Large power reserves of 150% and built-in large sized output
capacitors support the starting of heavy loads such as DC motors
or capacitive loads. In many cases this allows the use of a unit
from a lower wattage class which saves space and money.
High immunity to transients and power surges as well as low
electromagnetic emissions makes usage in nearly every
environment possible.
The integrated input fuse as well as the near zero input inrush
current make installation and usage simple. Diagnostics are easy
due to the DC-OK relay, a green DC-OK LED and the red overload
LED.
A large international approval package for a variety of
applications makes this unit suitable for nearly every
application.

I NTENDED This device is designed for installation in an enclosure and is intended for commercial use, such as in industrial control, process control, monitoring and measurement equipment or the like. Do not use this device in equipment, where malfunctioning may cause severe personal injury or threaten human life without additional appropriate safety devices, that are suited for the end application.

The operational temperature is the same as the ambient or surrounding air temperature and is defined 2cm below the device. The device is designed to operate in areas between 5% and 95% relative humidity. It is independent of a back-fed voltage from a unit connected in parallel to the power supply output. Contact closes As soon as the output voltage reaches 90% of the adjusted output voltage.

    A protected microcontroller inside the power supply acquires and stores operating data during the life of the unit. The amount of reduction influences the lifetime expectancy of the power supply.
