    REPARING THE TOOL FOR SERVICE I. Operation (A) Selection of rivet size Before riveting, there must of course be a hole in the materials to be rivets. Matching of hole and rivet sizes are very important. For example, where the outer diameter of the rivet is 3.2 mm, the hole diameter should be between 3.3-3.4 mm.

    AINTENANCE In order to maintain the tool in a safe working order it is important to carry out regular maintenance as prescribed by the manufacturer. A thorough inspection replacement of all seals within the tool should be carried out after 500,000 placings or annually, whichever is the sooner.
