6.1.1.1 INSPECT AND CLEAN BURNER ASSEMBLY (CONT)
Once assembly is free from the heat exchanger, carry out the following inspection:
• Inspect the black silicone and rope gaskets on the inside of the heat exchanger door. Replace seals
if there are any signs of damage and in any case replacement of the silicone gasket every two years
is recommended.
• Inspect the burner tube for signs of damage. Replace if any damage or burnt areas are found.

• Inspect the inside of the heat exchanger for signs of carbon build up or blockages between the
tubes.
• The heat exchanger can be cleaned using a nylon (nonmetallic) brush and vacuum cleaner, to re-
move loose deposits.
