Importing the Address Book from LDAP Server

To import address book from the LDAP Server,
1. Click an IMAGE SCANNER IS100e which you want to import the address book
to.
2. Click the Address Book from the Tools menu or click the Address Book tool
icon
3. Choose Import and LDAP, New from the Tools menu. The LDAP New
Configuration dialog appears.
4. Enter the server information including the IP address.
Name: Name field of the server.
E-Mail: E-Mail field of the server.
5. When the LDAP Server Query dialog is prompt, type keyword in the Query field.
For example, type cn=* in the Query field. And choose the operation method via
AND, Or, Not.
6. Click the Search button. The search result appears.
7. Select the e-mail addresses you want to import and click OK. The e-mail addresses
will be added into the scanner.
Note:
If you have previously set up successfully the LDAP server configuration, the name of the
LDAP server will be listed on the Tools menu. If you need to edit the LDAP server
configuration, simply click LDAP Configurations from the Tool menu.
