With a Cabinet Door
It is recommended that a 1 3/16'' clearance be left between the cooktop and the fixture sur-
face (fig.13).
Note: The adjacent furniture and all materials used in installation must be able to with-
stand a minimum of 185°F (85°C) above the ambient/room temperature which ranges 68°F
(20°C) to 77°F (25°C). However certain types of vinyl or laminate kitchen furniture are particular-
ly prone to heat damage or discoloration at temperatures below 185°F (85°C).
