Charging Procedure
The IMPRES 2 ™ adaptive charger system is a fully automated battery care system.
NOTE: To ensure optimized charging performance, turn off the radio while charging unless the
radio is transmitting data wirelessly on Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
Procedure:
1 Plug the charger end of the power supply cord into the power receptacle located at the side of
the charger.
2 Plug the wall receptacle end of the power supply cord into the appropriate AC outlet.
A successful power-up sequence is indicated by a single green blink on the charger indicator.
3 Insert a radio with an IMPRES 2 battery or a stand-alone IMPRES 2 battery into the charger
pocket.
a Align the radio or battery contacts with the contacts in the charger pocket.
b Press the radio or battery into the pocket to ensure complete contact between charger and
radio or battery contacts.
