The unit is available in two additional configurations. Users not looking for print, scan and fax
functionality can opt for the base model, the Aficio 1515, which features standard copying and
can be upgraded to include network printing and scanning. The Aficio 1515F configuration offers
standard copy and fax functionality.
 Value Analysis ()
The Aficio 1515MF, configured as a copier/printer with PCL printing, scanning, faxing and an
automatic document feeder (ADF), has a suggested retail price (SRP) that is among the lowest for
similarly equipped copier-based models available. In addition to performing well during the field
test, the unit offers a competitive bypass capacity (100 sheets) and ADF capacity (30 sheets). BLI
rates value by evaluating a unit's SRP in relation to its overall performance, paper handling, and
user and service intervention (see Advantages/Shortcomings).
 Summary
Because of its exceptional price point, outstanding image quality and very good overall productiv-
