DirectX
To ensure that you have the latest version of DirectX installed you should run the
DirectX diagnostics utility.
To run DirectX diagnostics utility:
Start
1. On the computer taskbar, click . The pop-up menu is displayed.
Run
2. Select and click . The Run dialog box is displayed.
OK
3. Type in, dxdiag. Click . The DirectX diagnostic tool will be displayed.
4. Make a note of the version number installed on your computer (highlighted in the
picture above).

5. Click the tab. The display adapter screen is displayed.
