3. Horizontal left-flow
 Horizontal left-flow is another default factory configuration for the units. These units may be
converted to horizontal left-flow by removing indoor coil assembly with drain pan and reinstalling it
as shown below.
 Rotate the unit 90° into the horizontal left position, with the coil compartment on the right and the
blower compartment on the left.
 Reinstall the indoor coil 180° from original position. Ensure the retaining channel is fully engaged
with the coil rail(Figure 3-4 and 3-5).
 Aftermarket drain pan kits are required when the unit is configured for the horizontal position over
a finished ceiling and living space.
