CAUTION Ensure that the frame is stowed with care when transporting in a car boot. Damage can
occur due to impact with car boot door.
WARNING The walking frame must only be used on firm, level ground. Avoid wet floors and be aware
of outdoor hazards such as wet leaves and ice. Walking frames must NEVER be used to negotiate steps or
stairs.
WARNING Wear flat, supportive shoes.
WARNING Take special care if carrying a bag or similar package
CAUTION Do not store this product in temperatures below freezing.
4.0 Use of the Walking Frame
Please ensure that you have thoroughly read and understood all of the instructions and safety
considerations in this User Manual.
4.1 Pre-use Checks
Prior to each use it is essential that the walking frame is visually checked for damage. This includes the
framework, security of the bolts, condition of ferrules and wheels. Should damage be seen or suspected the
walking frame must NOT be used and youj should contact you equipment provider.
4.2 Height Adjustment
WARNING It is essential that all legs are adjusted to the same height.
Remove the E clip from the extension leg and extend all legs evenly to the desired height ensuring that you
do not exceed the last punched hole of the extension leg (see fig. 1).
Once at the desired height, reinstall the E clip ensuring that it has passed through the extension leg and that
it fits neatly and snugly around the outside leg. (see fig. 2)
WARNING If there is any doubt as to the correct height for the user, a competent healthcare
professional should be consulted.
