Thank you for purchasing this Aidapt Walking Frame. This user manual has been created to ensure that you
are in possession of the knowledge to safely use and maintain your walking frame.
Correct and appropriate use of this device will reduce the risks associated with manual patient handling. All
lifting /transferring tasks should be assessed and planned by a competent person.
This manual contains essential safety information, it must be thoroughly read and understood
prior to use. The manual should be retained with the walking frame and made available to all
users.
This manual contains various Warnings, Cautions and Notes. These should be regarded as follows;

Notes used in this manual provide essential information in relation to the correct use of the device.

2.1 Intended Use
A waist high, non-foldable, mobility aid with four rigid legs designed to provide a stable support to a person
with disability, a geriatric or infirm person when standing or walking; may also be used during rehabilitation.
It is constructed of aluminium and surrounds the front flanks of the user. The user holds the handgrips and
slightly lifts the device to reposition it in front on them for each step forward.
2.2 Contraindications
A contraindication is a condition under which a Device should not be used.
There are no known contraindications associated with the use of a suitably assessed walking frame, when
used as per the instructions provided by the manufacturer in the User Manual.
If you are in any doubt that this product is suitable for your use, you should consult with a suitably
qualified healthcare professional. i.e the device presciber or your Occupational Therapist.
