CALL-WAY

Remote assistance interface.
The remote assistance interface monitors the state of a wired input,
which can be configured as normally open (default) and normally
closed. The closing (or opening) of the contact sends an emergency
message to the hands-free unit art. 03980 to call the remote
assistance. The device also communicates the battery status (flat
and/or poor reception). The device has a tamper-proof micro-switch
to protect it from removal and/or opening. To receive the appropriate
signals, at least one telephone number must be configured for
the supervision of the connected accessories; for details see the
instruction sheet of the hands-free unit art. 03980.
OPERATION AND CHARACTERISTICS

• When the battery charge level is low, whenever the contact is
activated the LED flashes for 2 seconds.
• When the device is opened and/or the tamper-proof device is
activated, the LED flashes for 2 seconds. If the condition persists,
the LED flashes for 2 seconds whenever the contact is activated.
• When the device is in learning mode, the LED flashes whenever the
contact is activated.
• When the battery is flat, the device stops sending messages and the
LED flashes every 4 seconds.
Extension terminals

closed or open clean contacts. The opening or closing of the contact
sends a message to the hands-free unit art. 03890 which makes
the call.
To connect the extension terminals:

whenever the contact is activated. If the battery is flat, the device
stops sending messages and the LED flashes every 4 seconds.
