ISS 608 and ISS 612 • Setup Guide
This guide provides quick start instructions for an experienced installer to set up and operate the Extron ISS 608 and ISS 612
Integration Seamless Switchers, seamless, scaling, video and audio switchers. The ISS 608 features six HDMI inputs, two
DisplayPort™ inputs, and two HDMI outputs. The ISS 612 has four additional SDI inputs, two SDI outputs, SDI Genlock input,
and SDI Genlock Loop Out. The inputs and outputs are HDCP 2.3 compliant and support resolutions up to 4096x2160 at 60 Hz.

Connections
Step 1 — Mounting
Turn off or disconnect all equipment power sources.
• For tabletop use, affix the rubber feet and place the unit in the desired
location.
• For optional rack mounting, align the holes in the mounting flanges
with those in the rack and then fasten to the rack (see figure 2).
Step 2 — Video inputs
HDMI input connectors 1 through 6 — Connect HDMI video to these

SDI outputs are only active when a SMPTE output rate is selected (720p, 1080i, 1080p, 3840x2160, or 4096x2160).
