Rear recovery points
The rear recovery points are
integrated with the vehicle's tow
bar and can be found on either
side of the tow bar. They are
designed to distribute the large
recovery loads through the
chassis frame.
The recovery points are designed
to be used in unison, using
a bridle to spread the load
between both points and the
chassis of the vehicle.
The angle of the recovery strap
should not exceed thirty degrees
from the centre line of the vehicle
for the rear recovery points.
NOTICE
The tow bar is designed to handle towing loads and not recovery loads.
Do not attach recovery loads directly to your tow bar, other than via the
recovery points.
