STARTING AND DRIVING
Automatic transmission
In vehicles with an automatic transmission,
the system selects the gear so that driving
will be as energy-efficient as possible. The
transmission also has a manual mode.
The transmission is available in different ver-
sions. The gear selector indicates which trans-
mission the vehicle has. The various gear
selectors have different functions.

For manual shifting, the gear indicator in the
instrument panel displays the gear currently
being used.
