9 Parameter setting
9.1 Getting started
Requirements:
ü The parameter setting software is correctly installed on the laptop / PC.
ü The laptop / PC is connected to the USB interface of the device.
u Start the parameter setting software.
w The user interface of the parameter setting software appears.
u Click on the [Configure devices] tile.
w View of [connected devices] appears.
u Click on [Network scan].
w A dialogue window appears.
u Select the [USB port (IO-Link master E30390 and AL1060)] option.
u Click on [SCAN].
w Parameter setting software searches for devices connected to the USB port.
w Parameter setting software detects the connected IO-Link master.
u In the [Actions] column: Click on .
w Connecting to device.
w The connected IO-Link device is detected.

To configure the IO-Link master:
u In the Actions column: Click on .
w The parameter value editor of the IO-Link master appears.
