    1. INTENDED USE This device is only intended as an electric tiller for aerating lawns and grassy areas in private domestic and hobby gardens. It is not designed for use in public areas, parks, sports areas, and in agriculture and forestry. Using the application for any other purpose is considered incorrect and unapproved.
  • Page 4 b) Thoroughly inspect the area where the equipment is to be used and remove all objects which can be thrown up by the machine. c) Before using, always visually inspect to see that the tools are not worn out or damaged. Replace worn out or damaged elements and bolts in sets to preserve balance.
  • Page 5 5)BEFORE OPERATION a) The machine should always be used according to the manufacturer's instructions in the instruction manual. b) The machine must be stopped when carrying out maintenance and cleaning operations, when changing tools or when transported by means other than under its own power.
  • Page 6 a) People not acquainted with the operating instructions, children, juveniles who have not yet reached the minimum age for using this device, and people under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication are not allowed to use the device. b) Children and adolescents under the age of 16 and persons unfamiliar with the instruction manual are not allowed to use the device.

This means that all external metal parts are insulated from the electrical supply. This is achieved by introducing an insulation layer between electrical and mechanical parts. OPERATION Fig.13 Fig.12 Fig.14 1) Press the safety lock button(1) 2) Lift the switch trigger (2) (See Fig.12) To start the tiller press the safety lock button (1) on the safety switch and then pull the trigger lever (2) up and against the handle bar. The motor will start and the tines will begin to rotate. To stop the tiller simply releases the lever.
  • Page 16 By pulling the tiller back towards yourself, the tines will dig deeper and more aggressively. To prevent tripping, take extra precautions when moving backwards and when pulling the tiller back toward yourself. If the tiller digs deep enough to stay in one spot, gently rock it side to side until it starts moving forward again.

    6. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE Before carrying out maintenance operations, disconnect power supply. CAUTION: Always clean the tiller after each use. Failure to carry out proper cleaning can result in damage to the tiller or result in poor performance. Clean the underside of the motor support plate and housing around the tines with a scrub brush, and a soft cloth dampened with a mild soap and water mixture.

    STORAGE Store the Tiller in a dry, clean area out of reach of children. During extended periods of storage, ensure that the tiller/ cultivator is protected against corrosion and frost. At the end of the season, or if the tiller is not being used for longer than a month, wipe over all metal surfaces with an oil impregnated cloth to protect them from corrosion or spray with a fine coat of oil.

    10. WARRANTY The manufacturer guarantees the product against defects in material and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of the original purchase. It can be extended by one year if the user subscribes to website of myswap. The warranty only applies if the product is for household use. The warranty does not cover breakdowns due to normal wear and tear.
