Replacing the I/O board

Procedure

1
Slide the I/O board under the fan and align the screw holes on the I/O
board with the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly.

Align the screw hole on the display cable with the screw hole on the I/O
board.

Replace the screws that secure the I/O board to the palm-rest assembly.

Slide the I/O-board cable into the I/O board and close the latch to secure
the cable.
5
Slide the fingerprint-reader cable (optional) into the I/O board and close
the latch to secure the cable.
6
Connect the media-card reader cable to the I/O board.
7
Adhere the tape that secures the display cable to the I/O board.
