Replacing the touch pad

Procedure

1 Align the screw holes on the touch pad with the screw holes on the
palm-rest assembly.
2 Replace the screws that secure the touch pad to the palm-rest assembly.
3 Slide the touch-pad cable into the connector on the system board and
close the latch to secure the cable.
4 Route the touch-pad cable and adhere the cable to the keyboard and
palm-rest assembly.

1 Replace the battery.
