Preset position
A guard tour with preset positions displays the video stream from different preset positions, either in a predefined or random
order for a specified duration. Once started, a guard tour continues to run until stopped, even when there are no clients (web
browsers) viewing the images.

Preset positions: To select multiple preset positions, press SHIFT while selecting the preset positions. Click
preset positions to the View order area.
View order: Displays the preset positions included in the guard tour.
• Import all preset positions: Click to add all preset positions to the guard tour. The preset positions are imported in
the order they are created.
• : Click to play the guard tour.
Recorded
A recorded tour is a replay of a recorded sequence of pan/tilt/zoom movements, including their variable speeds and lengths.
General settings
• Name: Enter a name for the guard tour.
• Pause between runs: Specify the pause time between guard tour runs. Allowed values are from 0 minute to
2 hours and 45 minutes.
Recorded tour
• Start recording tour: Click to start recording the pan/tilt/zoom movements.
• Stop recording tour: Click to stop recording the pan/tilt/zoom movements.
• Re-record: Click to start a new recording of the pan/tilt/zoom movements. The new recorded tour will overwrite the
existing one.
• Click to play the recorded tour.
• Click to pause the recorded tour.
• Click to stop playing the recorded tour.
Name: Enter a name for the guard tour.
Play guard tour in random order: Turn on to make the guard tour to go the preset positions in a random order.
Pause between runs: Specify the pause time between guard tour runs. Allowed values are from 0 minute to 2
hours and 45 minutes.
Duration: Specify the duration of all steps in the guard tour. The default value is 10 seconds, and the
maximum allowed value is 60 minutes.
Move speed: Specify the move speed which controls how fast to move to the next preset. The default
value is 70, and allowed values are 1–100.
