4. Disconnect the signal cable and the power cable from the rear of the optical drive, and then remove the
screw that secures the optical drive.

5. Slide the optical drive out of the front of the computer.

6. Hold one end of the optical drive bezel and remove it from the optical drive as shown.

7. Take the new optical drive out of the static-protective package by its sides.
8. Hold one end of the optical drive bezel and install it on the optical drive.
