14. Align the five screw holes in the system board with the corresponding holes in the chassis. Then, install
the five screws to secure the system board to the chassis.
15. Route all the cables that you disconnected from the system board, and then connect the cables to the
system board. See "Parts on the system board" on page 37.
16. Install the Wi-Fi card. See "Replacing the Wi-Fi card" on page 128.
17. Reinstall the antenna bracket or the storage drive bracket if you have removed any one of them. See
"Replacing the antenna bracket (for 10KG, 10KH, 10KJ, and 10KK)" on page 135 or "Replacing the
2.5-inch storage drive (for 10G8, 10G9, 10GA, 10GB, 10GC, 10GD, 10GE, and 10GF)" on page 123.
18. Install the internal speaker. See "Replacing the internal speaker" on page 120.
19. Install the memory module. See "Replacing the memory module" on page 118.
20. Install the heat sink. See "Replacing the heat sink" on page 116.
21. Reinstall the system fan if you have removed it. See "Replacing the system fan (for 10G8, 10G9, 10GA,
10GB, 10GC, 10GD, 10GE, and 10GF)" on page 114.
22. Install the computer cover. See "Completing the parts replacement" on page 140.
23. Connect the external cables and the power cord to the computer.

Completing the parts replacement

After completing the installation or replacement for all parts, reinstall the computer cover and reconnect
cables. Depending on the parts you installed or replaced, you might need to confirm the updated information
in the Setup Utility program. Refer to "Using the Setup Utility program" on page 67.
To reinstall the computer cover and reconnect cables to your computer, do the following:
1. Ensure that all components have been reassembled correctly and that no tools or loose screws are
left inside your computer. See "Computer components" on page 31 for the locations of various
components in your computer.
2. Ensure that the cables are routed correctly before reinstalling the computer cover. Keep cables clear of
the hinges and sides of the computer chassis to avoid interference with reinstalling the computer cover.
3. Position the computer cover on the chassis so that the rail guides on the bottom of the computer
cover engage the rails on the chassis. Then, push the cover to the rear of the computer until it snaps
into position.
