Prerequisites

Remove the
base
cover.

Remove the battery.
3
Remove the
memory
modules.
4
Remove the
wireless
card.
5
Remove the
thermal
plate.
6
Remove the
solid-state
drive.
7
Remove the
hard
drive.
8
Remove the
display
assembly.
9
Remove the
system
board.
Procedure
1
Lift the power button off the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
2
Lift the power-button with fingerprint-reader board off the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
3
Peel the fingerprint reader cable off the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
