34.1 Adjusting the saddle height

1. Swivel the quick-release lever outwards.
2. Adjust the saddle to the required height.
- When doing this, observe the minimum insertion depth of the seat post.
3. Once you have adjusted the saddle to the correct height, align the saddle in a straight
line with the frame.
4. To secure the saddle in position, swivel the quick-release lever inwards until it is flush
with the seat tube.
- If you cannot swivel the quick-release lever in as far as the seat tube, you can reduce
the initial tension by turning the adjusting screw in an anti-clockwise direction.
- Then swivel the quick-release lever inwards again until it is flush with the seat tube
in order to close the seat post clamp.
5. Check whether the saddle can be rotated.
- If you can rotate the saddle, increase the initial tension of the quick-release clamp by
turning the adjusting screw in a clockwise direction.
