Server Chassis Features
System Power
The SC118GQTS-1800GBP features a high-effi ciency 1800W power supply. The
AC power cord should be removed from the system before servicing or replacing
the power supply. See Chapter 6 for details.
SATA Subsystem
The SC118GQTS-1800GBP chassis includes four 2.5" drive bays, which may be
used to house hot-swappable SATA drives. RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 are supported
(RAID 5 is not supported with Linux OS).
Front Control Panel
The control panel provides a system monitoring and control interface. LEDs indicate
system power, HDD activity, network activity, system overheat, UID and power
supply failure. A main power button and a system reset button are also included.
Cooling System
The SC118GQTS-1800GBP has an innovative cooling design that includes twelve
4-cm counter-rotating PWM (Pulse Width Modulated) fans. The power supply
module also includes a cooling fan. All chassis and power supply fans operate
continuously. These GPU servers include an air shroud (one for each GPU card)
to further help cool the GPUs.
