IMPORTANT NOTICE
System Validation Test or Commissioning of the gas detection system is
not complete until it is tested to verify that it is functioning according to
its design objectives or specifications.
Validation includes, but is not limited to:
•
Verification tests of the functions of each component in the individual
system architecture.
•
Verification that all inputs to the system result in the correct outputs.
•
Verification that, where required, a back-up power supply system
is in place.
•
Verification that all personnel who will be working with and/or
affected by the system have received proper instruction on use
and purpose.
