10. WArrAnTy

PROFI-TECH-DIAMANT gives a warranty on material and production faults of 12 month. This does not
count for wear and tear parts. Wear and tear parts are these parts which are parts used under normal
circumstances of the machine. The wear and tear period can not be defined. It differs with the amount
it's used. The wear and tear parts are maintained, stopped or possibly to be exchanged according to the
specific machine instructions. An operational wear and tear does not account a claim.
List of wear and tear parts:
Diamond-Cutting-Blade, v-belt, cable, switch, plug, coal brushes, collector, ball bearings which do not
run in an oil bath, shaft sealing ring, friction clutch, overload clutch, spark plugs, Filter, cranking wire,
cranking handle, cranking roll, cranking spring, Membranes, Bowden puller, lamellae, hydraulic clut-
ches, running and cranking wheels, friction bearing, guiding elements such as guiding rails, -bushings
-rolls, pilot bearing, support materials and materials like this.
The warranty starts with the day of purchase. A receipt with the name of the trader (invoice or delivery
note) as well as the machine number is to be included.
In this period we guarantee:
• remedy of possible faults free of charge
• Replacement of all damaged parts with new parts free of charge
• Dispatch within Germany free of charge
provided that:
• a purchasing contract is included with the goods (invoice, delivery note with machine number).
• the VDE 100/0701 test required by law is carried out by an electrician every 6 month (receipt is to be
included).
• the cleaning and maintenance required by the manufacturer is being carried out after 250 working
hours (life span of the coal brushes).
• the motor has not been opened by untrained personnel.
• the motor is only being used in the recommended working area (see instruction manual).
• the safety instructions of the instruction manual have been followed.
PROFI-TECH-DIAMANT does not give warranty
• by broken seal in the electronic part
• when the motor has already been opened and closed by someone els than a PROFI-TECH-DIAMANT-
employee.
• by damages due to external cause (e.g. water, drilling mud) as well as by overcharging the machine
and wrong handling.
• by inappropriate handling as well as by untended machines (dirty machines).
Exchange or return in the case of warranty
An exchange or a return will only be accepted by PROFI-TECH-DIAMANT if the machine has already be
in for repairs twice or after consultation with PROFI-TECH-DIAMANT. Additional claims are excluded.
In the case of a return or an exchange to a new machine we need to charge a deduction for use of the
above mentioned wear and tear parts.
