6. opErATIon AnD USE

6.1 Information
The decision of which Diamond-Cutting disc is needed has a great impact on the ideal functioning of
the stone cutting machine. Due to many different influences we recommend to consult PROFI-TECH-
Diamant Tools GmbH or one of their representatives. This should not only be done because of warranty
reasons but it should also give you the possibility to receive information about how
- the machine is to be checked (possible transport damages, faults during mounting)
- the optimal justification of the machine can be reached
- the personnel using the machine are to be instructed.
We will be pleased to give additional improvement advice for the use and the maintenance.
6.2 Adjustment and trial run with material
Not until the trial run of the machine has been performed the work with material can be performed.
Proceed as follows:
• Check if you have chosen the correct Diamond-Cutting disc for the material used.
• The machine can be adjusted to the required cutting depth by using the nut with handle . The max.
not to be under-stepped cutting depth is to be secured at the depth limitation device
• Don't set the Diamond-Cutting disc to low. Only check if the cutting table moves below the disc
without touching it when the machine is switched off. During the height adjustment the cutting
compensator is being relieved by a spring-type-terminal.
• The cutting table is to be pulled towards the user, the material to be cut laid on the table and adjus-
ted to the front guide rail.
• Now the cut is aimed for. Attention! After the cutting process has been started the material to be
cut can no longer be adjusted, and only straight cuts are possible.
• Now the motor can be switched on by means of pushing the main power switch (1). Attention! It is
to be taken care of that the Diamond-Cutting disc is not touching the material to be cut before the
cutting motor is activated. As soon as the max. rotation speed has been reached and the cooling
water is running the cutting table with the material to be cut can be pushed towards the rotating
Diamond-Cutting disc with just the right amount of pressure. Too much pressure by the forward
push can damage the machine and the Diamond-Cutting disc!
• As soon as the cut is finished the cutting table can be moved back and the material, which has been
cut, can be taken of the machine.
• Attention! The water flow must be aimed precisely and run continuously. It is for used for tool
cooling and for the removal of cutting bits. Should there still be disturbances or faults the cutting
process is to be stopped immediately.
