Solution
Fill the mower with fresh petrol. (See page 6.)
Set fuel tap to the "open" position. (Refer to the Figure
Sheet)
Firmly push and slowly release the primer bulb at least
3 times.
Wait for 5 minutes, then try starting the mower again.
(Refer to the "Starting/stopping the mower" section)
Check for sparks. Remove the spark plug. Reattach the
spark plug cap and lay spark plug on the metal cylinder.
Pull the starter grip and watch for sparks at the spark plug
tip. If there is no spark, repeat the test with a new spark
plug. (See page 10.)

Replace the blades in sets of four (4) to maintain the
balance.
Stop the product. Make sure that all moving parts have
come to a complete stop. Allow the product to cool down.
Disconnect the spark plug wire. Inspect for damage. Have
the damage repaired by an authorised service centre
before restarting the product.
Remove the mulching plug when using the grass catcher.
Raise the cutting height. Cutting very wet grass at a low
cutting height will also greatly hinder the ability of the
mower to throw the grass to the catcher. We recommend
cutting the grass when it is not as wet.
Empty the grass catcher to allow newly cut grass clippings
to enter.
