vice.
The following tables are designed to help you to find the cause of a malfunction or
a fault and to resolve it.
To prevent unnecessary loss of temperature it is advisable not to open the door
while waiting for the appliance to be serviced.

ance is not getting cold
and the interior lighting
does not come on when
the appliance door is
opened.
The temperature display

geration appliance is
not cooling.
The temperature inside
the refrigeration appli-
ance deviates signific-
antly from the selected

Cause and remedy
The refrigeration appliance has not been switched
on. The temperature display on the control panel is
not showing a temperature.
 Switch the refrigeration appliance on.
The plug is not inserted into the socket correctly.
 Insert the plug into the socket.
The mains fuse has tripped. There could be a fault
with the refrigeration appliance, the household elec-
trical wiring or another electrical appliance.

tomer Service Department.
Demo mode has been activated. This allows the refri-
geration appliance to be presented in the dealer
showroom without the cooling system being
switched on. This setting is not needed for domestic
use.
 Press and hold the temperature setting button 
for 10 seconds until an audible signal sounds.
 After some time, check if your refrigeration appli-
ance is cooling again.
It may take several hours until the temperature inside
the refrigeration appliance returns to the previous
setting.
 In some cases, it can help to switch off the refri-
geration appliance for 5 minutes and then switch it
back on again.
