It provides informaion for understanding how the machine operates, where components are located, basic troubleshooing, maintenance and mechanical service operaions.

Before transporing the machine, make sure that: • All covers are closed. • The igniion key is removed. • The machine is securely fastened to the means of transport.

Otherwise, request assistance from the authorized personnel or from an authorized Service Center. • Use brushes and pads supplied with the machine and those speciied in the Operator’s Manual. Using other brushes or pads could reduce safety.

To increase brush pressure, press the buton (Item “D”). The LED above the buton will illuminate yellow. Press the buton (Item “D”) again and the brushes will return to normal scrub (yellow LED will turn “OFF”).

The main machine controller operates the scrub and vacuum funcions. It is located directly behind the operator control panel. It is responsible for raising and lowering the deck, turning the scrub funcion and the vacuum funcion on and of based on operator requests and other inputs.

    Service Manual: Clarke Focus II Midsize, Nilisk-Alto ScrubTec 8 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION The Clarke Focus II Midsize scrubber is batery powered. It contains 4 6 volt bateries for a total of 24volts. Heavy cables connect the bateries in series. A large red 120 amp two way “Anderson” connector is used as a Main Power Plug to connect the bateries to the machine wiring and batery charger.
