Communication via TCP-IP
The controller over TCP-IP communication incorporates the possibility of
communication using the modbus protocol.
The following points must be taken into account:
- To connect and monitoring the wind turbine via the modbus tcp/ip
protocol, Bornay must first be consulted at servicio@bornay.com for
activation.
- Once activated, the start-up and operation test must be carried out,
thus corroborating that everything works correctly.
- The server will be located in the local IP address of the Dongle, to locate
it you can use Angry IP scanner, advanced IP scanner or another similar
program, depending on the version of the dongle it will appear as
raspberrypi or as Bornay. As for the port, the one used by default is 502.
Data types and their reading
Once the IP and port have been located, the following premises must be taken into
account when reading the monitoring data:
- The Monitoring Directorates range from 5,000 to 5,030, which are
named one by one in the following section.
- The data type provided by the server is a 32-bit signed integer.
- The function code of modbus is 03 Read holding registers.
