Install the Toner Cartridges

Close the cartridge cover (B) and lower the
scanning platform (A). Please wait until the
whirring sound stops.
NOTE
The carousel rotates into a new position for each
toner to be loaded.

Press [ ] or [ ] to select <1.CHANGE
CARTRIDGE> on the LCD, then press [OK].

INPORTANT
To avoid damage, do not touch the development roller
(A), sensors (B), electrical contacts (C) or toner
cartridge memory (D) on a toner cartridge.

The LCD alternates between the standby display
and the message to insert toner cartridges (Y/M/
C/K).

Press [ ] or [ ] to select <5.ALL COLORS> on
the LCD, then press [OK].
NOTE
• If you replace an individual color, select either
YELLOW, CYAN, MAGENTA or BLACK instead of
<ALL COLORS>, then press [OK].
• If you select <5. ALL COLORS>, change the
cartridge one by one instead of removing all
cartridges.

Lift the scanning platform (A) and open the
cartridge cover until it is locked (B) when the
whirring sound stops.

Hold the cartridge and gently shake it several
times in all directions to evenly distribute the
toner inside.

Press [ ] or [ ] to select
<10.MAINTENANCE>, then press [OK].

Check the color marking on the cartridge
receptacle in the machine. Remove the toner
cartridge of the same color from the bag.
Keep the back for future use.

Remove the protective cover (A) by pulling on
the tab. Keep the cover for future use.
