large bubbles, always clean the milk carafe lid (E1) and
the carafe connector (E6) as described in sections "9.6

ough cleaning of milk carafe".

9.1 What milk to use?

The quality of the froth will vary depending on:
• the temperature of the milk or vegetable drink used (for
best results, always use milk or vegetable drink straight
from the fridge, 5 °C);
• type of milk or vegetable drink;
• the brand used;
• ingredients and nutritional values.

Please note:
For best results when using vegetable drinks, select "Barista"

9.2 How much milk?

The milk container (E7) is marked with a graduated scale (fig.
23) to help ensure that the ideal quantity of milk will be poured
when preparing the drink.
The intermediate marks correspond to increments of ≃ 20ml.
The "MIN" mark corresponds to the minimum quantity pro-
grammable (see section "9.7 Customising the quantity in the
cup").
