19 Troubleshooting
Condition LEDs on Battery
Mowing head cannot
be unscrewed by
hand.
Charge process does 1 LED glows red.

battery is inserted in
the charger.

19.2 Troubleshooting Charger

Condition LED on Charger
Battery not being LED flashes red.
charged.

Cause
Normal battery life has
been exceeded.
Mowing head
overtightened.
Battery too hot or too cold. ► Leave battery in the charger.
Cause
No electrical contact
between charger and
battery.
Malfunction in charger.
Remedy
► Replace the battery.
► Block the fanwheel with the stop pin.
► Unscrew mowing head by hand.
► Remove stop pin.
Charge process starts automatically as soon as
permissible temperature range is reached.
Remedy
► Remove the battery.
► Clean contacts on charger.
► Fit the battery.
► Do not use the charger and contact your STIHL
servicing dealer.
