Before first Use

Unpack the frost guard and check the unit for any damage in transit. Dispose of
packaging materials or store it out of reach of children. Plastic bags etc. may
become a deadly toy for children. Before first use, clean the housing as described
in chapter "Cleaning".

Intended Use

The frost guard is intended to keep small rooms frost-free. Only use the frost
guard indoors and use it in a fixed position, mounted on a heat-resistant surface.
The frost guard must not be used outdoors.

Product Specifications

The frost guard is an electrical convector heater. The unit is equipped with a
thermostat (1) for maintaining the desired temperature. As soon as the unit is
switched on, the control light (2) turns on and the unit heats up. The thermostat
controls the room temperature and turns the unit on and off.
The frost guard is equipped with an overheating protection. This overheating
protection turns off the unit in case of overheating. Please keep in mind that the
frost guard is always ready for use, as soon as the power plug is inserted into a
wall socket. To switch off the frost guard you have to unplug from power mains.

Wall Mounting

Before selecting the correct place for the frost guard, be aware of keeping the
following minimum distances:
 Min. 50 cm away from bathtubs and showers.
 Min. 50 cm away from other objects, especially from inflammable materials.
 Min. 70 cm from ceilings and at least 50 cm from the floor. Only mount on a
heat-resistant surface.
1. For firmly mounting the frost guard, use the provided mounting rail (3) and the
included screws and dowels. Or take suitable screws and dowels according to
the ground.
2. If necessary, remove the mounting rail. The rail is fastened on each side of the
housing with a screw.
