Possible reasons
Leak between seat and plug
Defective operating diaphragm
Control line with needle valve
blocked.
Valve too large for control task
(flow rate) or too small
(differential pressure)
Leak between seat and plug
Incorrect set point range
selected.
Safety device, e.g. pressure
limiter, has been triggered.
Plant differential pressure too
low.
Strainer blocked
Incorrectly installed valve
(direction of flow).
Valve too large for control task
Recommended action
Remove regulator from the
pipeline and clean the valve
seat and plug. Contact
SAMSON for further action.
Contact SAMSON's After-sales
Service.
Remove control line and needle
valve. Clean them.
Recalculate K
and contact
VS
SAMSON for further action.
Remove regulator from the
pipeline and clean the valve
seat and plug. Contact

Check set point range and

Check plant. Unlock safety

Compare differential pressure in
