• Ensure that the battery pack is secured against movement within
the packaging.
• Do not transport batteries that are cracked or leaking.
• Check with the forwarding company for further advice.

TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

Remove the battery pack.
Ensure that all parts are clean and dry.
Remove all foreign materials from the product.
Drain all spray materials from the spray tank before storage and
transportation.
After each use, check all parts of the product for leaks.
Return the product to an authorised service centre for repair if it has
any.
The spray wand can be stored in the cradle.
For transportation, secure the product against movement or falling
to prevent injury to persons or damage to the product.
Store the product in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place that is
inaccessible to children. Keep the product away from corrosive
agents, such as garden chemicals and de-icing salts. Do not store
the product outdoors.

CLEANING THE TANK

1. Remove the battery pack.
2. Remove the tank from the base and set it on a level surface
away from the base to prevent exposing the base to harsh
chemicals.
3. Fill the tank one-third full of clean water.
4. Install the tank and spray the water until the tank has been
emptied. Make sure to direct the spray toward an area that will
not be damaged by residue chemicals in the tank.
5. Repeat the procedure with clean water until the tank is
thoroughly clean.Wash the outside of nozzles and dry with a
cloth.
6. Wipe the outside of the tank with a clean, dry cloth.
7. Allow all pieces to completely dry before reinstalling the
parts and storing the unit. Always reinsert the strainer before
replacing tank cap.

MAINTENANCE

Servicing requires extreme care and knowledge and should be
performed only be a qualifi ed service technician. For service, we
suggest you return the product to an authorised service centre for
repair. When servicing, use identical replacement parts only.
Make adjustments or repairs described in this manual only. For
other repairs, contact an authorised service centre. After each use,
clean the product as prescribed in this manual.
Drain and empty the spray tank before cleaning.
Drain the spray materials through the fi ll area.
Drain all the spray materials from the spray tank into a container
approved for chemicals. Do not store chemicals in the spray tank.
Use clean water to clean and rinse the spray tank. A small amount
of mild household detergent may be added.
Wipe the product with a clean, dry cloth.
It may be necessary to rinse the spray tank more than once.
Never dispose residual chemicals or contaminated rinsing solutions
in waterways, drains, sewers, street gutters, or manholes.
Dispose residual chemicals and used containers in accordance with
local waste disposal regulations.

Remove dust and debris off of the accessory. Keep accessories
clean, dry, and free of oil or grease. Use only mild soap and a
damp cloth to clean, since certain cleaning agents and solvents are
harmful to plastics and other insulated parts. Some of these include
gasoline, turpentine, lacquer thinner, paint thinner, chlorinated
cleaning solvents, ammonia, and household detergents containing
ammonia. Never use fl ammable or combustible solvents around
tools.
ACCESSORIES
Use only MILWAUKEE accessories and spare parts. Should
components that have not been described need to be replaced,
contact one of our MILWAUKEE service centres (see our list of
guarantee or service addresses).
If needed, an exploded view of the product can be ordered. State
the product type and the serial number on the label, and order the
drawing at your local service centres.
USING THE SHOULDER STRAP
INSTALLING THE SHOULDER STRAP LOOPS TO THE
PRODUCT
To install the shoulder strap loops, perform the following steps:
1. Remove the battery pack.
2. Remove the power head from the tank.
3. Position the 3-bar slide less than 1 in. from the D-ring of the
strap.
4. Insert the strap through the fi rst hole of the metal 3-bar slide
and weave the strap over the center of the 3-bar slide into the
second hole of the metal 3-bar slide.
5. Insert the fabric end of the strap into the anchor point of the
product.
6. Take the end of the strap and weave it through the second hole
of the metal 3-bar slide and then into the fi rst hole.
7. Take the remaining fabric end and weave the strap through the
3-bar slide.
8. Repeat the steps for the other anchor point located on the
opposite side of the product.
