Alert Tones

Your radio uses alert tones to inform you of the condition of your radio. The following table lists these
tones and when they occur.

When
The radio is unable to authenticate or register with the
system.
The radio receives a private call.
The radio receives a phone call.
The radio receives a call alert.
The radio receives a selective call.
The radio enters Geofence.
Heard
When radio fails its power-up self test.
When an unauthorized request is made.
Four seconds before time out.
When radio fails to receive an acknowledgment.
When radio is in an individual call for greater than six
seconds without any activity.
When radio initiates Fall Alert mode.
After time out.
(When PTT button is pressed) transmissions are not
allowed.
When the radio ends your call after it detected there is
lack of voice for 60 seconds after the PTT is pressed
and hold. Your radio ends the call to enable your radio
to receive calls from other radio users. The duration of
this timer can be preprogrammed by a qualified radio
technician.
(When PTT button is pressed) the radio is out of range
of the system.
When radio is on an unpreprogrammed channel.
When system is busy.
When a correct key is pressed.
When radio passes its power-up self test.
