Remove I/O board FCC (10 pin)

Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.
"Remove the lower case" on page 26
"Remove the battery pack (for gaming models)" on page 26
Step 1.
Disconnect the I/O board FCC (10 pin) and remove the I/O board FCC.

Remove the heat sink

Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.
"Remove the lower case" on page 26
Step 1.
Disconnect the battery pack cable from the system board.
Attention: Use your fingernail to pull the connector to unplug it. Do not pull the cable.

Step 2.
Peel off the two pieces of mylar from the heat sink.

Step 3.
Loosen four screws in alphabetical order and remove the heat sink.

Remove the fan

Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.
"Remove the lower case" on page 26
Step 1.
Disconnect the battery pack cable from the system board.
Attention: Use your fingernail to pull the connector to unplug it. Do not pull the cable.

Step 2.
Disconnect the antennas, I/O board cable and the fan cable. Then, pull out the cables.
