Remove the battery pack (for non-gaming models)
Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.
"Remove the lower case" on page 26
Step 1.
Disconnect the cable from the system board.
Attention: Use your fingernail to pull the connector to unplug it. Do not pull the cable.
Step 2.
Remove six screws and then remove the battery pack.

Remove the solid-state drive
Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.

Attention: Use your fingernail to pull the connector to unplug it. Do not pull the cable.
Step 2.
Remove one screw and remove the solid-state drive by pulling it away from the slot.
