AIR SUPPLY CONNECTIONS

Connecting Air Supply to Unit
The connection is the same for compressed air
or industrial compressed air in gas cylinders.
1. Connect the air hose to the compressed air
input inlet port at the appropriate pressure.
Connect the other end of the air hose to a
clean air supply such as a air compressor or
industrial compressed air in gas cylinder.
Note: The compressor MUST be capable to
deliver a minimum of 0.6mpa (90psi) at
115l/min (4cfm) or the cutter will not be able
to operate continuously.
Note: if the pressure is too low the plasma
cutter will automatically shut off.
Operation Of The Reducer Valve
Start the air flow. Lift the pressure adjustment
knob upward and adjust the air pressure to the

desired value by rotating the knob (rotate to "+"
direction to increase gas pressure; rotate to "-"
direction to reduce gas pressure).
The compressed air pressure dial will show the
air pressure. Adjust the air regulator so that the
out pressure on the air pressure dial is 0.5mpa
(75psi)
Press down the pressure adjustment knob to
lock.
Drain the water by pushing in the vapour drain
plug when there is too much water in the filter
cup.
CAUTION: Do not use the plasma cutter on an
air system that includes an oiler. Fine particles
of oil WILL contaminate the internal components
of the plasma torch and void your guarantee.
