2. Limbing

Limbing is removing branches from a fallen tree.
While limbing, do not limb larger lower limbs which support the log off the
ground.
Cut all small limbs in one cut.
Branches that are under tension should be cut from the bottom up to avoid
pinching the chain saw.

3. Bucking a log

Bucking is cutting a log into lengths.
Make sure that your footing is firm and your weight is evenly distributed on
both feet.
If possible, raise and support the log by the use of limbs, logs or chocks.
According to the location of the log, cut as follows:
When the log is supported along its entire length, start cutting from the top.
While cutting, make sure not to touch the ground with the sword.
