Transport

Always carry the chain saw with the engine stopped. Activate the
kickback brake to avoid unintentional start-up. Never carry or transport
the chain saw with running saw chain.
When transporting your chain saw, make sure the appropriate guide
bar cover is in place and the guide bar is directed to the rear. Only
carry the gasoline chain saw by the handle.

Cleaning

Clean the housing of the chain saw with a lightly moistened cloth, a
brush with fine bristles or similar.
Do not wipe the housing of the machine with sharp detergents or
aggressive chemicals in order not to damage the surfaces.

Storing

Before storing the chain saw for long period of time, empty the oil
and the fuel tank and run the engine out of fuel. Store fuel and oil in
approved containers.
Pull the starter handle in order to run fuel out of the carburettor. Set
the start/stop switch to the down position.
Remove the spark plug and pour approx. 10 mm fresh and clean
two-stroke oil into the cylinder.
Place a clean cloth over the spark plug hole and pull the starter
handle several times in order to evenly distribute the oil.
Determine the correct position of the piston by viewing into the
spark plug hole. Slowly pull the starter handle until the piston is
lifted up. Leave the piston in this position.
Re-attach the spark plug but do not connect the spark plug cable.
Store the chain saw indoors in a dry and dust-free place. Protect
the machine from dirt and extreme temperatures.
