• Release the battery retaining
clip 3
• Disconnect the negative
battery lead (–) 4

• Pull the battery out to the left
and ensure that it remains
level
• Swing up protective cap 5 the
positive post
• Disconnect the positive
battery lead (+) 6
• Remove the battery
